Posted in Category(ies):  Other NewsDairy

A piece by Jane Holton, Jane works in the semen store for Progressive Genetics and farms a 100 cow spring calving dairy herd with her father Peter, just outside Longwood, Co. Meath.

The theme for this year was ‘Technologies for Success’ which was stemmed from staying focused on what matters in Dairying not only in Ireland, but in New Zealand and across the industry internationally. There was also a major focus on looking after yourself as a farmer (and others) & getting rid of the stigma surrounding mental health in rural Ireland.
