New Appointments to our growing team

Progressive Genetics have recently appointed Shane Leane and Kelly Stephenson to add to their advisory and farmer support teams.

Shane Leane come to Progressive having completed a PhD in herd fertility and having managed the Moorepark Curtins dairy herd. Shane has a wealth of knowledge in dairy systems, fertility management and crossbreeding. Shanes role includes advising farmers on breeding strategies for their farming systems and strategies to achieve excellent fertility results.

Kelly Stephenson also adds a wealth of farming knowledge having completed her Ag degree in UCD and having worked at Dawn Farms as well as having a close involvement with the suckler and dairy enterprises at home. Kellys role includes supporting herd management decisions using SCC and milk recording data.

Progressive Genetics has been adding to the team internally also with the promotion of Jane Holton to the role of customer support. Jane is also from a dairy farming background and has been working in semen distribution for a number of years.

Progressive Genetics has needed to grow their team to cope with extra demand from an expanding national dairy herd and as new products are added to their portfolio.
