2021 Breeding season: new proofs

ICBF have just released the January 2021 bull proof run. This run sets the scene for the 2021 breeding season and we are delighted to have the most exciting choice of high EBI sires in the industry.

This run confirms the rankings of the most used bulls in 2020 and the newly released sires and sexed semen sires.

Kilfeacle Pivotal FR4728 maintians his rank as No. 1 EBI sire on the Active bulls list. Semen will be limited for this sire so order early, however he will be available on the fresh semen panel.

Highest New Release Sires

(IG) CRUACH VALEGRO SRM FR6163 is the highest ranking new release sire for EBI. He is joined by the massive protein percentage bull (IG) STONEPARK SERGI SRM FR5515 and the strength,protein and fertility specialist (IG) RATHLANNON ESMONDE SRM FR5530

Sexed Semen Sires

(IG) SPRINGHAVEN SUPREME FR4482 ranks as the No. 1 EBI sexed sire. He is backed up by the high producton sire (IG) VIADUCTVIEW FIVEO FR5971 along with several other high protein sexed sires like Milan, Zoro and Nova.

G1 Sires

G1 sires are the new young bulls that are becoming avaiable for the first time. These bulls will be tested in GeneIreland in 2021 and also be avaibable on a limited basis otherwise. These bulls have no field fertility data yet so are sold in small quantities and in packs.

The typical pack will average over €300 EBI and over €100 Production so they represent excellent genetics and a great opportunity to push your bull team to a higher level.

Order Early

To get the full selection of sires it is advised to order early. As always the highest demand sires will be available on our fresh semen program for the technician service so availablity of top bulls for technician herds is assured.
